This is a used Sony GVD-1000 MiniDV Digital Video Recorder/Player. This works with MiniDV media.  Recorder is in good physical condition with scuffs, scratches, marks and wear from normal use and storage. This is an NTSC unit. The previous owner placed velcro on the bottom of the unit, hence the serial number sticker being moved under the LCD display.<br>The unit is powered by an external power supply or via a Sony InfoLithium battery, neither are included, this listing is strictly for the unit itself with no battery or power supply. I tested the unit out and it properly powers on, display appears to be in great shape with no dead pixels or lines. I put a tape in the unit and I was able to play it back with no issues, I did some FWD/RWD tests and it seemed to be fine. Long term or stress testing was not performed.<br>Once again, no battery or charger included.
